Hi,
I've pushed a better-install branch to my gitlab ishtar fork: https://gitlab.com/cyrilbrulebois/ishtar
It's been branched from the merge base between the v0.9 and master branches, so that it can be merged in either of them.
Please review and merge if it looks fine, or let me know what needs to be reworked if needed.
